BoxchainFx – or Boxchain FX – is a scam fund management platform which claims to offer a range of investments, including crypto.

However, this is a fake website set up to lure unsuspecting investors into parting with their cash by offering unfeasibly high returns over a short period.

There are no genuine trading or investment strategies on offer here and anyone who sends money to the platform or anyone claiming to represent BoxchainFx will lose it.

Some people have reported being contacted via social media by people either directly trying to encourage them to invest in BoxchainFx or befriending them first then casually introducing the platform into the conversation.

There are many red flags which point to BoxchainFx being a scam, including:

  • A new domain name registration.
  • Content that’s littered with spelling and grammatical errors.
  • An address that is actually a flat above a shop in Scotland.
  • Ridiculously high returns that are simply not attainable.
  • No social media presence or official app store apps.
  • No information about the company or the management team behind it.
  • BoxchainFx is subject to a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) alert.
  • Displaying a Companies House registration certificate on the website is a sure sign of a scammer.

There’s no doubt that BoxchainFx is a scam platform that should be avoided.

I’ve lost money to BoxchainFx – can I get it back?

Firstly, if you’ve lost money to BoxchainFx you should report the scam to the relevant authorities.

There are also private companies that might be able to help which I’ve written about here.
