CRVW Top Crypto Scam: Avoid This Fake Bitcoin Investing Platform
CRVW Top is a scam crypto app which is still catching people out despite the website appearing to be defunct.
The person who contacted me about this fraudulent platform had sent $2,000 to the scammers before seeing their account balance quickly rise to $10,000.
As is typical with scams of this nature, when he tried to withdraw his cash the scammers started demanding more money.
Initially they wanted 30% of his initial deposit and fake profit in ‘analyst’s commission’ before they would release his funds.
Before he’d even paid this sum, the scammers asked for a further 20% more to pay ‘local taxes’.
Fortunately, he became suspicious and contacted me before shelling out any further cash to the scammers.
How can I tell CRVW Top is a scam?
As usual there are many things that give this site away.
They include:
- The domain name is only a couple of months old.
- The scam follows a well-rehearsed pattern in the demands for cash.
- The victim cannot withdraw their funds.
- The platform is poorly designed and has no content.
- There are no details about the company or people behind it.
- There are several scam reports about the site online.
- No legitimate site would promise the returns offered by CRVW Top.
These are just a few of the things that tell you CRVW Top is a 100% a scam.
Do not send any money to these people and, if you’ve already sent some, don’t send any more.
You will not get any of your money back and the profits aren’t real.
Can I get my money back from the CRVW Top crypto scam?
Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to get your money back from the crypto scammers.
However, some of the things you can do include: reporting the scam, approaching the crypto exchange you used to transfer funds and consider a chargeback if you paid by credit card.
