What is the QuantraExc trading platform

QuantraExc, which calls itself Thequantradex in its URL, claims to be a financial trading platform offering access to a range of different crypto assets and NFT markets.

The main quote its website is ‘Step Into The Metaverse – Own, Play, Earn’ with a tagline suggesting the assets on offer are centred around Web3 and online gaming.

However, if you try to click through to the internal page links, you are presented with a login screen and no other content is accessible.

The website also redirects visitors to another platform with a completely different name after a few seconds of showing the pop-up, after which the new website times out.

Red Flags displayed by QuantraExc

The behaviour I’ve just described is clearly not typical and immediately suggests the platform is not all as it seems.

Legitimate sites do not force redirects on people like this, nor hide the ‘about us’ and other content pages from visitors before they’ve signed in.

Further red flags soon become apparent as well as we took a deeper dive into the platform.

For example, the domain name was only a couple of months old at the time of writing, and the registrant’s info had been hidden as well, which is always a bad sign.

We couldn’t find any social media channels associated with the platform which is highly unusual and something that genuine crypto companies always have.

Additionally, there’s no information that we could find about the team behind the platform, the regulatory status or any registered business address or phone number.

Is QuantraExc legit or a scam?

Putting everything together it’s our conclusion that QuantraExc is highly likely to be a scam crypto trading platform that has been set up purely to enable fraudsters to steal people’s money.

Scammers set up dozens of similar sites every month which exist for a short while before being shut down. They then move on to new platforms and domains.

So, if you’re wondering whether to invest here and if the platform is safe to use it’s our opinion that it’s not and that you should steer clear of it.

If you do part with your cash and try to withdraw it we believe you’ll be blocked from doing so and the scammers will then demand fees or taxes in order for you to get your funds back.

However, we’re sure you’ll ever see the cash as this a classic pig-butchering style of scam.

QuantraExc reviews from users

Looking around at various scam reporting sites and social media channels, it’s clear that the overwhelming majority of people who’ve engaged with QuantraExc believe it’s a scam.

There are multiple reports from people who’ve lost money, which align with the feedback we’ve received from clients ourselves.

This would align with our view that this platform is not a genuine investing site and is merely a cookie-cutter website set up for nefarious purposes.

I’ve lost money to QuantraExc, what next?

Unfortunately crypto scams are incredibly common and we often speak to people who’ve lost money to romance and pig butchering scams.

If you have lost money on this platform you should immediately contact your bank to explain what’s happened.

You should also collect as much evidence as possible, including wallet addresses, emails and WhatsApp messages and store these as they may be useful in the future.
