Dropstab Support Scam Crypto Platform
Rating: Suspected scam
Domain Registration: 1.10.2025
First reported: 14.11.2025
Description:
Dropstab Support is a platform that is being used to trick people into thinking they’re using a legitimate service which operates under a similar name. The scammers have set up a very convincing shop front which also includes an email address which they’re using to contact people claiming they have a valuable sum of Bitcoin sitting in a dormant account. Once a victim expresses interest they are directed to another platform where they can apparently ‘see’ they’re crypto on the blockchain. They’re warned that if they don’t respond soon the frozen crypto will be lost forever. This is a classic psychological trick – dangling a financial carrot in front of someone then putting time pressure on them to take action. Unfortunately, we’ve heard from several people who’ve been a victim of this scam. It serves as another warning to ensure you do your due diligence on a platform before engaging with it or those representing it, and certainly before handing over any money.
