Dotll Vip Crypto Trading Scam: Avoid This Fake Platform
Dotll Vip ranks as one of the worst looking crypto scam trading platform sites that I’ve seen recently, yet it’s still managing to successfully con people out of their money.
I was contacted by someone who’s parent had unfortunately lost money to the scam. He could see it was a scam site straight away, but he wasn’t asked to review the site until after his dad’s money was lost.
He did a bit of digging and discovered that the site was a direct clone of several other scam crypto platforms that are live right now.
Dotll Vip makes little effort to be a convincing crypto platform, and even displays completely false exchange rates.
What makes Dotll Vip a scam crypto trading site?
The poor quality design of this site make it clear it’s a scam platform from the moment you visit.
But if you’ve never used financial platforms before and perhaps have lower financial literacy than others, it can be confusing.
However, there are numerous giveaways, including:
- The domain name is just a couple of months old.
- The design is terrible, and no reputable financial institution would use it.
- There is hardly any content on the site.
- The content that is there has clearly been written by someone who doesn’t speak English as a first language.
- There are no details about the company, such as address, contact details etc.
- The platform domain is Dotll Vip, yet the title of the site is FTX.
- The few links that do exist simply point to a sign-in page.
- There are no social media channels on the site.
- It’s been listed as a scam on several online platforms.
Do not send any money to Dotll Vip and block anyone who claims to represent this platform.
Can I get my money back from Dotll Vip?
It’s highly unlikely that you’ll be able to get your money back from these scammers.
It’s unclear which country they’re operating from, and even if you found out, the local authorities are generally powerless to do anything due to the unregulated nature of crypto.
