Ttoke Crypto Exchange Scam: Avoid This Fake Bitcoin Trading Platform
Ttoke (or Unitcoin) is a scam crypto website that’s so obviously fake it’s amazing that anyone falls for it.
The design is eye-wateringly terrible, with pixelated graphics and dozens of grammatical mistakes throughout.
The platform claims to be ‘the world’s leading cryptocurrency’ exchange, but it’s clear that it’s nothing more than a poor attempt at fleecing unsuspecting users out of their cash and crypto.
The person who contacted The Crypto Adviser about this site had, fortunately, only lost a small amount of money.
But it could so easily have been worse as the scammers were increasing their demands, and putting pressure on the victim to send them more cash, purportedly to pay ‘fees’.
What makes Ttoke / Unitcoin a scam?
Aside from the terrible design which no legitimate company would ever use, there are many other things that reveal this site to be a scam.
They include:
- A brand new domain name.
- The registrant’s details have been hidden.
- No content on the site or company information.
- No social media links.
- There are no reviews about this platform.
- Numerous spelling and grammatical errors on the site.
- Confused branding, ie the name on the page differs from the URL.
- No clear indication of any functionality on the site.
- An immediate prompt to connect your crypto wallet – an automatic red flag.
- Overall, there are many reasons to steer well clear of this site and to not invest any money here.
Can I get my money back from the Ttoke scam site
The short answer is that it’s very unlikely you’ll be able to secure the return of your cash or crypto from this scam site. However, it’s important to report scams to the authorities to help others.
