Gemini-Coin Vip Scam Crypto Platform: Fake Site Convinces People To Invest

Gemini-coin is a scam crypto and Forex platform that is designed to work in conjunction with a WhatsApp group populated by fake investors.

The person who contacted The Crypto Adviser about this platform had been approached at random on social media and encouraged to invest on Gemini-coin.


But they became suspicious, and their fears were confirmed when they tried to withdraw their money, and ‘fake’ profits.

Their account was blocked, and pressure was put on them to make a large deposit to secure the release of their money, which fortunately they didn’t pay otherwise they would have lost this as well.

What gives Gemini-coin away as a scam?

There are many things wrong with this platform which reveal it to be scam.

They include:

  • A stolen logo from the legitimate Gemini crypto platform, and the implication that the platform is somehow connected with them – a common tactic of scammers.
  • Grammatically incorrect blocks of text on the site that often don’t make any sense.
  • A very new domain name, despite claiming that they’ve been in business for 16 years and have won numerous awards over that time.
  • Ridiculous investor numbers claims which would be impossible given the short space of time the platform has been operating.
  • Fake positive reviews that are written in broken English and clearly use stock images of models.
  • The scammers are using a company address based in America that is linked to various scams by several official bodies, including the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK.
  • Links on the platform throw up various warnings and should not be followed.
  • A Domain Authority rating of 1 meaning the site is very new, has no inbound links and has very low traffic.
  • No social media platforms or official apps connected to the site.

Putting all these things together, it’s clear that Gemini Coin is 100% a scam platform and you should not invest any money here.

I’ve lost money to the Gemini Coin scam, can I get it back?

It’s incredibly unlikely that you’ll be able to get your money back, but you should still report what’s happened to the authorities in your country.
